It’s time, dear sinners, for the Fiftieth\u00a0episode of the #wordcountpodcast<\/strong>! And I want YOU to celebrate with us!<\/p>\n

The Show will be available to download on\u00a012 September 2015<\/strong>\u2014five years to the date that I released Episode 1.\u00a0 Toward this end, I\u2019ll be looking to receive all submissions by\u00a04 September<\/strong>\u00a0to allow time for editing, recording and post production work.<\/p>\n

The theme is simple:\u00a0\u00a0\u201c50.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

That could be fifty friends, fifty bottles of beer, fifty ways to leave your lover, or fifty shades of grey (as long as it\u2019s better than the book).\u00a0 Just include 50 somewhere in the story.\u00a0 The detailed guidelines are at the bottom of this post\u2014PLEASE read them\u00a0carefully<\/u>\u00a0as they are a little different from the standard guidelines.<\/p>\n

Along with the show itself, I\u2019d like to ask for volunteers to participate in a \u201cWord Count Podcast\u201d\u00a0blog hop<\/strong>\u00a0that will take place beginning in September and running for the month.\u00a0 Participation in the blog hop is NOT required if you plan on submitting a story\u2014but as the show is just over 90,000 downloads I have a goal of pushing us over the 100,000 mark. \u00a0And–as the podcast is free of any advertising–I rely on participants and social media to get the word out\u2026<\/p>\n

The blog hop has no specific theme\u2014but a mention of the show with links would be awesome.\u00a0 After that, write what you like!\u00a0 E-mail me at me@rbwood.com<\/a> if interested.<\/strong><\/p>\n
