Prompt: Your Main Character finds a painting of himself\/herself.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Penelope Price stopped dead in her tracks.  The echo of her heels coming to an abrupt halt, much to the relief of the visitors around her.<\/span><\/p>\n

Having almost an unlimited source of money and a black hole where her scruples were supposed to sit, makes for an interesting time traveler.<\/span><\/p>\n

The plans she had made were all working quite well, thank you very much.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was the little things–the unexpected things\u2014that were a direct result of her meddling with the fabric of time\/space that always shocked her.<\/span><\/p>\n

She stared at her discovery.<\/span><\/p>\n

She was meeting her contact with a line into Mussolini\u2019s new government.  Penelope was about to close a deal to sell the 20th century dictator microchip technology.  <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt must have been a side journey,\u201d she thought.<\/span><\/p>\n

The little Italian weasel of a go-between–Carducci\u2014had insisted on meeting somewhere public.<\/span><\/p>\n

Three years ago, she thought.  That mistake with the time settings.  She though she\u2019d left before anyone noticed.<\/span><\/p>\n

But obviously not.  She began to laugh.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Sistine Chapel in Rome was as public a place as any.<\/span><\/p>\n

And there, on the ceiling, was a perfect representation of Penelope\u2026in her 1930\u2019s costume.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cMichelangelo, you old dog!\u201d she said.<\/span> <\/p>\n
