ENDING Word count today: 22,415<\/strong><\/p>\n

Been a while\u00a0since my last update. We had some interesting things happen in America over the last few days.<\/a>\u00a0Been writing off and on, but to be honest, I’ve been really distracted.<\/p>\n

Got in about 2500 words per day anyway. Stephen King once said<\/p>\n

“Sometimes you have to go on when you don\u2019t feel like it, and sometimes you\u2019re doing good work when it feels like all you\u2019re managing is to shovel shit from a sitting position.”<\/em><\/p>\n

This week was a test. For many reasons.\u00a0But I’m determined to get this done, so onward to today’s snippet:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat happened to my sister? \u201c Eden\u00a0asked quietly. \u201cWhat really happened to Eve?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cTell my sister I love her and forgive her, okay?\u201d Eve had said.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI will.\u201d I’d replied.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A knife. The sound of impact. Hot blood on my hands.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I looked away. \u201cI told you already.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n
