The ninth season of the show kicked off in style in January! Two new authors, and a couple thousand downloads\/streaming listens!<\/p>\n

The overall #WordCountPodcast<\/strong> season theme is LANDSCAPES. And we have another winter scape to test your creativity:<\/p>\n

The title of this month\u2019s show is \u201cThe Long Walk<\/strong>\u201d and I can\u2019t wait to see what our writers come up with this time!<\/p>\n

The guidelines for submission to the show are below\u2013and anyone can send in a story for consideration. While I certainly love the stories our Word Count Irregulars supply, I\u2019m always open to new writers and new ideas.<\/p>\n

I would love to hear from you, either with a story submission or via social media. I have a Facebook Page that could use a few \u2018likes.\u2019 The more listeners and contributors we have, the better the shows can be.<\/p>\n

DEADLINE: I must receive your submission by Saturday 23 February<\/strong><\/span> 2019 by MIDNIGHT Eastern time.<\/p>\n

THE DETAILS: The work must be an original story in English based on the picture theme above.<\/p>\n

Do NOT exceed SEVEN minutes.<\/p>\n

As this is a podcast, I need to receive a file of YOU, a friend or multiple friends reading (singing or otherwise performing) your work. MP3 FORMAT ONLY, and please attach your MP3 file to an e-mail or contact me for a Dropbox link.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Your latest bio (DO NOT ASSUME I HAVE YOUR LATEST)
\n\u2022 Links to your website(s) \u2013 Include your personal site, Facebook Fanpage etc.
\n\u2022 Your Twitter handle (if you have one)
\n\u2022 A photo of you I can use for the show notes
\n\u2022 At the end of your recording, please add \u201cThis is author of and you\u2019re listening to The Word Count Podcast.\u201d
\n\u2022 Permission to use your recording in the podcast.
\n\u2022 PLEASE Make sure you have included ALL ARTIFACTS I have asked for. Do not assume I can \u201cGet your picture from the internet\u201d or can \u201cPull your bio from your web page.\u201d<\/p>\n

I do reserve the right NOT to post your submission, but will communicate that to you should it be the case.
