Called <i>Pleasure Thresholds<\/i> (from one of her character, Lyta Alexander\u2019s most famous quotes from the show), the book is full of behind\u2013the-scenes goodness of one of my favorite shows of all time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">But there is so much more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">There are hundreds of candid photographs (seeing the late Richard Biggs, Andreas Katsulas and Jeff Conaway brought tears to my eyes), an enclosed DVD with photos, videos, audio commentary and an interview with Pat conducted by series creator J. Michael Straczynski (Both Pat and Joe sign each copy of the book, by the way).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">Beyond all the extras, there is Pat\u2019s story. Written as if you joined her for a few pints in a pub, the conversational tone she takes with the reader is comfortable, witty and heart-felt. The business of Hollywood is daunting, tiring and certainly has its seedier side and Pat pulls no punches. You get her story, warts and all.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-569\" style=\"vertical-align: middle; margin: 5px;\" alt=\"PatriciaTallman002\" height=\"312\" width=\"500\" src=\"http:\/\/rbwood.com\/dir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/PatriciaTallman002.jpg\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rbwood.com\/dir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/PatriciaTallman002.jpg 645w, https:\/\/rbwood.com\/dir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/PatriciaTallman002-600x375.jpg 600w, https:\/\/rbwood.com\/dir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/PatriciaTallman002-300x187.jpg 300w, https:\/\/rbwood.com\/dir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/PatriciaTallman002-400x250.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">Some of my favorite highlights:&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">Pat\u2019s son is truly her pride and joy.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">You understand how good a man JMS is despite the powers-that-be.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">Her account of the reaction by Pat\u2019s family to her first nude scene.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">All about her <i>Night of the Living Dead<\/i> role and how she became Barbara.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">The camaraderie and tensions on the set.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">I could go on for hours. This 362 page book is chock full of all things Hollywood. And all things about one of my favorite redheads.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">I highly recommend the read\u2026I\u2019ve gone through <i>Pleasure Thresholds<\/i> four times now. This is a wonderful tome for fans, Hollywood historians and industry followers alike.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">I just wish all stars were this honest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">Thanks for sharing it all with us, Pat.
