\"whats-in-a-name\"Way back in 2009, I came up with the series title \u201cThe Arcana Chronicles<\/em>\u201d to tell  the story of Symon Bryson a magical Practitioner in the modern world.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first in the Series\u2014The Prodigal\u2019s Foole<\/em>\u2014has been fairly well received as a novel, an origin story and a good old-fashioned horror tale.<\/span><\/p>\n

In recent months, I\u2019ve become aware that New York Times best selling author Kresley Cole has come out with her own series of the same name.<\/span><\/p>\n

Both series are fantasies and both series use the Tarot as a basis for the stories.<\/span><\/p>\n

In order to avoid confusion, I have decided to change the name of my series moving forward.  Some names I\u2019ve come up with are off to the LEFT in a poll\u2014Would love your input toward the final decision.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let me be clear:  The change is MY choice.  Although I have reached out to Ms. Cole, I have neither heard from her, her agent nor any attorneys in this matter.<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m assuming it\u2019s because I do not make a big enough blip on the radar screen of the literary world.<\/span><\/p>\n

But I don\u2019t write to make money.  I write because I love to tell stories\u2014and some of you seem to like the way I tell them.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the meantime, let\u2019s figure out\u2014together\u2014the new title for my series so I can move on to book two.<\/span><\/p>\n
