Welcome to the much-delayed Episode 46 of \u201cThe Word Count\u201d podcast!<\/span><\/p>\n

I apologize to everyone\u2014especially our four storytellers on the show this month.  I\u2019ve been dealing with some\u2026entertaining\u2026health issue of late.  Hopefully I\u2019ve turned that corner and get back to both writing and podcasting!<\/span><\/p>\n

The show this month was supposed to be released back in February.  The theme is \u201cMy Bloody Valentine\u201d<\/b> So now it\u2019s My bloody Valentine\u2026in the Spring?<\/span><\/p>\n

Yeah.  That\u2019ll work.<\/span><\/p>\n

But before we introduce our cadre of writers, a bit about the show:<\/span><\/p>\n

What is The Word Count Podcast?<\/span><\/p>\n

It is a free broadcast by writers for writers.  Simply put, a theme for each show is announced via this site, Twitter and Facebook and writers are given a week or two to write AND RECORD their stories based on said theme.<\/span><\/p>\n

Why?<\/span><\/p>\n

Why not, says I.  It\u2019s a great way to practice writing and public speaking.  It\u2019s another way for writers to get their work \u201cout there.\u201d  And I love to meet fellow authors and have a blast putting the show together.  It\u2019s just that simple.<\/span><\/p>\n
